DAYDREAMS

MAR2ND.jpg

There is nothing better that I like to do, than lie down flat on my back and watch the clouds from a grassy plot.

The sun is playing peek-a-boo, enough for me to conjure pictures in the air.

I see a valley there, a mountain here, some sheep that side, a village this side – all that I can’t get where I am now.

Oh, look at the rays emanating from behind those clouds; they cause a shadow on the trees and a shade below.

Is God trying to catch my attention with a display of his wondrous splendor?

I wonder.

  1. Dear Sabina,

Who among us hasn’t seen animals or faces or any number of things in the clouds? I do find it a bit dangerous to do while driving. 😉 Lovely word pictures in this.

    Shalom,

    Rochelle

  2. Nice reflections. Cloud watching is always fun, and appreciating the wonders around us helps us to see what counts, no matter what we believe.

  3. Sadly the grass is to wet to lay on the grass here in Yorkshire today. There is even to much standing water to stop me walking across the fields to get home, but at least the sun has come out today. But you gave me permission to dream
