Does it seem that God didn’t mean for you to walk in togetherness?
Have you ever wondered why am I walking in singleness?
Do you feel isolated, left out, bracketed as separated?
Fear not, for Immanuel God is with you!
Take heart, O deserted one,
Take courage, O disconsolate one,
You are accepted and acknowledged,
You are loved and accepted as His beloved!
Does it sting to see others go on two-by-two
While you walk alone with no one to hold on to?
Do you stress to watch others go by hand-in-hand
While you trudge alongside with no one to hold you?
Sing and dance O desolate one,
Rest and rejoice O desperate one,
Be glad in the Lord your God,
For He has seen your lowliness
And is mindful of your loneliness!
He is your Source,
He is your Strength,
He is your Sustenance,
He is your Stronghold,
Rest and trust in Him,
For He is your Spouse!
