Where are they taking us Sid? I feel so embarrassed to be carted around like this!
Chill, Jill! We are going to be exhibited in a show of old cars.
Yeeks, that’s even more gross! Imagine being made a spectacle!
Look at the bright side. We were rotting in a corner of the garage. Now they have hauled us out, refitted and refurbished us. I call that a great deal in our old age!
I see your point, but I wish they would have always valued us. After all, we served them well in our times!
True. Just be happy we still have value!
A new lease of life!

Nice voice – I’m watching the film Cars with my son these days so it reminded me of that!

I think he should not be “cranky” at being exhibited… it’s a chance to show himself off!

Dear Sabina,
Cute story. And those old cars are worth a fortune now.

Great work, Sabina. Neat little story. I’m going to rea those of these stories to my dad since he’s a car aficionado.
I have never seen Cars and Paul Newman voiced the “classic” model (he is missed!).
Five out of five “oogah, oogahs.”

Absolutely. My comment is actually about the neglect of the old by the young and how they do care, only if its to their gain. Its something I see around me, constantly

Great story featuring talking cars, Sabina. I think she’ll change her mind when she’s shown at the event. That’s become a popular hobby these days. Good writing. π — Suzanne

Thank you.
My take was based on the fact that we tend to neglect old people (things) and don’t realise their value. Its a commentary on the neglect of older family members, unless they are useful to us!
