Looking over to her sister, she sighed.
Why God, the neglect? Why the difference?
We were conceived together, birthed together and grew together.
Am I not of worth?
Is it because I am not flashy or pushy?
I remind myself “They also serve those who stand wait”.
The still small whisper, “I can trust you to wait.”
Sudden voices, cries of surprise, exclamations, sounds of joy…
Winds of change began to blow.

It’s hard to live in the shadow of someone else and see them get all the applause. Even with faith it will somehow work out it’s still hard not to resent the situation.

Dear Sabina,
They say that good things come to those who wait. I felt her frustration. Well done.

Exactly! But it is possible, for isn’t that faith gives you – insight, as it is the “substance of things unseen and evidence of things hoped for”!

The pic reminded me of a film song in my native language of Tamil.
The song depicts two women as two flowers. One adorns a woman and the other is left on the roadside.

Life’s unfair. But apparently she’ll be rewarded for her patience.

I think, patience is always rewarded, in time.
Problem is, we live in times where instant gratification is the norm of the day. So patience is a casualty.
We are too busy scrambling over one another to wait!
