Life just seems to come around,
This is what I first wrote about!
Should I admire that I'm where I began,
Or think is this all they can!
Who is to blame when people jump the gun ,
And then leave much left undone.
Why do people not finish what they began,
And leave useful things junked behind!
Wonder if this is how we gather waste,
Just because we often procrastinate.
How much we can really save when we wait,
And not try to do it all in haste!
This applies even to our words,
Something that's hard for us nerds!

This is a sad poem Mullingspice. Of a life unrequited and well – just plain sad. You write well though!

I liked the last couplet, as an inveterate hoarder of words

A song! That’s something new for FF!
Waste is a considerable problem for our modern society. Everybody needs to reduce – re-use – recycle – recover, in that order. Great that you highlighted the issue!

Dear Sabina,
You’re so right about our wasteful, if not hurtful use of words. Nicely done.

According to my wife, the avacodo toliet and matching tub are to be reused at some point in time. I think she’s hoping to find a matching sink to make it a trifecta.
I really loved the last stanza. That was cute.

This singsong prose is light and airy yet carries a heavy message. Nice one (again), spicedmullings.

It will be wonderful if someone figures out how to dispose of great amounts of waste like plastic instead of just recycling. I hope the answer doesn’t have another problem connected to it. Good writing, Sabina. —- Suzanne

Oh I think this is wise… so much we junk… so much we can do with less.

I must say a lot!!! What a beautiful insight into collecting what we do not need.
